This controller was either damaged previously and recycled and sold to me as new or the production facilities of Feilun Inc. have bad quality control and production standards. After unpacking I noticed some residue on the bottom similar to the glue component in the foam pads used to mount the controller in the helicopter. I wanted to replace my old controller and so I went ahead with the replacement anyway. This heli flew fine with the old controller until a bad tail motor (another shoddy part in the FX070C design) burnt out the tail motor FET on it. So I replaced the tail motor and thinking a new controller would be better than trying to replace the FET in the old one, I went ahead with replacing the whole controller. This strategy didn't work out since the new controller was defective in more than one way. First the tail motor started running uncontrollably fast and second there was no 6-axis control of the servos. The result was a crash and the tail FET burnt out. I tested the controller on the bench and could confirm that the accelerometer/gyro section of the controller was non-functional., no matter how I set the switches in the transmitter. Obviously i must have received a defective unit. If it was recycled/resold who knows but it is a shame anyway.
