A very sweet and cost effective little scope. I do not have a signal generator just now, but it seems to measure my 9V battery ok when it's set to 20V per division. I might not be to that accurate when it comes to voltage-measuring, and I'm not an expert (it's my first scope), but it should be useful to check low frequency signals i think. The monitor i clear, and it seems easy to use.

Very good oscilloscope. I like it. For its size its parameters are very good. Also working with it is very intuitive - I managed to understand how-to by myself even without reading the manual. Each button have function and when holding MODE key and pressing other key at same time it does second function. You can see on images the device on maximum sensitivity touching disconnected from power line device and so the induction from the surrounding power line can be seen. Thank you.

TBH, I'm absolutely shocked that this thing works. I had a circuit that outputs an audio tone at a specific frequency, and it nailed it to the Hz. it's battery powered so you don't have to worry about shorting to earth. It's so compact that it fits in my small pocket, Hitting "Auto" literally just snapshotted the waveform with no error. Not for major, higher voltage, critical function, or multichannel, arithmetic-needing stuff, but for checking simple arduino/raspi/IC hobby output stuff, this

    pretty cool little device

A mért jelalakokat, frekvenciákat elég jól visszaadta. Minimális torzítást véltem felfedezni, de hát mint mondtam nem egy laborműszer.

well. cheap. ok enough for arduino use (low frequency). with 1MHz analog bandwidth(as stated). would be an awesome signal viewer for 555 timer circuits. esp for beginners. 1 thing I would suggest is replace cables with smaller ones since this scope is tiny. thinner gauge and smaller aligator clips. or maybe clamping hooks. AUTO function does NOTHING. wish they would offer a plastic casing for this. nice addotion to my functional scope 'toys' ☺

Definitely petite. As supplied the DSO188 is usable up to 40VAC and the input socket is NOT BNC. To make the O-scope really usable a 10X probe is needed. To do so you will have to order a BNC adapter (#930139) & a 10X probe (#1157645), you will then be able to monitor voltages up to 600VAC. Very handy size & with built-in battery it is a convenient test tool you can actually keep in your pocket. Not for precision work but you can trace signals in audio, video & automobile circuits

This is a really good matchbox size DSO that works as described and fits perfect for my small scale voltage DIY projects. Leaflet manual provided is tiny also so i scanned -took a photo of it and reprinted it on A4 size to have a readable version. A 10x probe like https://www.banggood.com/DANIU-2Pcs-Oscilloscope-Probe-BNC-Alligator-Clip-Ground-Lead-Test-Tool-20MHz-1X-10X-p-1157649.html?p=P828165195951201606J is needed to get full functionality of it. I connected one of them using the BNC turn MCX

With its dimensions of 57 mm by 34 mm by 11 mm, the DSO188 by Daniu can be called a matchbox oscilloscope. If you think this device is nothing more than a fun but useless toy, you are wrong. You can effectively observe signals up to 100 kHz. Of all the cheaper than fifty euro scoops that we have tested, we are most impressed by this DSO188. Despite the small dimensions, the scope is easy to operate and the oscillogram is easy to interpret. Even with the life of about ninety minutes with one battery

Frequency can be displayed, Vmax, Vmin, Duty, Vrms, Vpp. At any time, the waveform display (pause function) is frozen. Battery/USB power supply, built-in 250mAh battery and intelligent charge management. Ultra small volume, easy to carry.
