Works well. I am using these to power LED strips at 12V so they last longer, while using a "12V 5A" power brick that actually produces 13.5V. They only seem to really heat up after 1.2 to 1.3 amps, so I am having each one convert about an amp. The overcurrent protection is very nice, since these are in use in a kitchen. Only difficulty: there are no mounting holes, and the holes for wires don't match the 2.54mm grid of standard prototype board, so it is hard to mount in a secure way.
