This flashlight use the usual Convoy tube format but unlike the S2+ or S3 it includes a micro-USB charging port wich might make this lamp the perfect gift for people not used to deal with Liion batteries. - 3 modes +strobe but the strobe is double click so it doesn't get in the way if you don't want it. - Last mode memory - Charging state light - Light output measures with fresh battery : Low 44lm, Mid 220lm, High 546lm (at 30 sec) - The side switch (no tail switch) is not very easy to find in the dark nor to use with gloves - I am not sure if the USB charging port cache will last very long Overall it's mostly ok and the friend i gifted that one is very happy with it but even if i usually support Convoy for their very good quality for price i think there are better 18650-tube-USB charging lights in that price range
