The manner that this BlitzWolf® BW-CML2 RGB Gaming Monitor Light Bar mounts on top of my 32" flat-screen monitor, with a 23mm thickness, is quite good (magnetic attraction to provided stick-on thin metal plate), and the light that it produces is very suitable for this type of product, with the upward & backwards additional Rear light spread partly wasted, in my own case, by the location of my monitor being well clear of any wall. Initially the working light spread (the front "business" illumination) had its inner "edge" of this light spread falling onto the screen surface! This was proven by the fact that a sheet of paper held horizontally with its inner edge touching the screen surface was FULLY illuminated! Belatedly, after an interval during which I sandwiched a tiny machine screw between plate and magnet to tilt the light spread outwards, I discovered that the tubular light bar could be twisted inside its mount to adjust the illumination position to suit- due to the mount and bar connection being just "spring" friction in nature. In the same manner there may be situations where product light bar may need Left - Right adjustment to centralize the USB power lead in its pass-through aperture on the mounting. I'm using the slight weight of the USB power cord (partly re-bundled with twist tie), and a added on USB extention lead with an inline ON/OFF Switch, as a counterbalance at the rear to aid the magnetic attraction in dealing with the forward weight bias of this product
