CCMT09T304 carbide inserts in these knives are larger and stronger than CCMT060204 (Photo 1, Photo 2). I'll be using them now. Well packed. (Photo3). But one of the knives requires a thin washer to fit properly(Photo4)

These tools, with the inserts provided, have performed very nicely in 4140 steel. Also leaves a nice finish on 6061 aluminium on the OD, though facing cuts appeared rough so HSS or higher rake inserts may be required for finishing in aluminium The SCMCN tool does a good job of edge breaking in both steel and aluminium. In the photo, the turning tools left this finish in an 8mm OD. The thread is from another tool I reviewed separately.

Again very happy with this purchase the quality is excellent for the price equal to more expensive brands a have used , Recommend the product and the seller. I will post a video of this tool kit soon
