Whell, I ordered the black boards with the black led case on it (as on the picture), but I got the third variant. Black board with white cases on it. Someone maybe colorblind? I ordered 12 plates and they all came unharmed. Not yet tested the leds but expect that there will be no issues. For a jumbo display with 1200 of these pixels you still have a scan frequency of 27,8Hz (carrier frequency = 800kHz). For higher scanrates or bigger screens with acceptable scan rates, just divide into sections and adapt the control software. For testing the chips you can provide supply voltage to V+ and V- and an oscillator signal with a frequency of 800kHz and a dutycycle of 0.68 between the Din and V- line.
